Crystal Calls

Harder than glass, higher pitched and with slightly more volume, crystal is appreciated for the extra distance the sound travels.  Range of tone on a yelp from crystal can be extensive – from a very high front to a low backside.  Many call makers choose crystal or glass based on the sound achieved in the particular design and wood species pot they are wanting to use.
