Description
‘Last Missouri deer season, I returned to my Missouri Ozarks, leaving behind, outdoor writers, outdoor TV crews, trail cameras, crop fields and food plot rich North Missouri, for an old fashion Ozarks deer camp hunting public ground, acorn eating, ridge runners in the Missouri river hills. Of course, like in any deer camp, there is still talk of mystical Ozarks ridge running ghost bucks, but our group doesn’t stress about ”how many inches”, ”What does he score”, we just go deer hunting, the type of deer hunting I grew up with, when a big fat doe is as good as a trophy as any buck. We hunted some private ground, but most of our camp hunted public ground, in the steep, rugged Ozarks river hills.” Ray Eye
