Denny has added a new responsive “red” latex as the shortest reed in this call giving it a more natural double- note KEEOULCK of both hens & gobblers. Secondly, & exclusive to only this call, he has incorporated a unique ‘Horizontal Recess Split’ across the top reed, that promotes air to slip between the top & second reed for natural rasp characteristic to many bird’s voices.

These calls take patience and practice, but the Master Red is my favorite Gulvas call. Very unique rasp that sounds much closer to the resonance of a real hen than standard cut reed calls. I still use standard calls, too. But much like a trumpet call or natural voice calling, these produce a unique sound that turkeys have not heard. That gives you and edge as a hunter and these are a tool I like to have in my tool belt for stubborn birds.
